Good morning, everyone! My name is ___________. I’m _____ years old. I’m a pupil. And I’m in Grade 6 from Yutan Middle School. Today, I’m very glad to stand here to give you a speech. My topic is “Be a polite person”.
It’s a polite age now. And Ningxiang is an enlightened county too. So it’s very important to be a polite person. But how to be a polite person?
As a student, I think its very important for us to know what we should do and what we shouldn’t do. We should speak polite words in public. We say "thank you" when someone helps us. We say "sorry" when we do something wrong. And we should take care not to talk loudly in public. What’s more, we should be friendly to everyone. When we meet somebody, we should greet them warmly. When we take a bus or a train, we should wait in line and wed better give our seat to the old and the child. However, we shouldnt drop litter everywhere. And we should try to do everything to protect the environment. And we shouldnt quarrel with others or laugh at others.
