　　When a man falls in love with a woman at the first sight, he does stupid things. He does anything to please her. He asks her number, write her love letters, and buy her gifts to show how deep his love is. This wouldn't stop until one day the girl turns back and says to him: "You are a nice guy, but it would never happen between us." In some cases, the girl would learn to appreciate the man by and by, given the time and chance. But from my experience, man and woman are attracted to each other either by physical things like good look or sexy body or realistic stuff like good education, high-paying job, or other things such as nice personality.

　　The problem is a guy would tell a girl he loves her even when he doesn't or not sure about his feeling. This is man nature, man has a desire to conquer either in business or in love. He would be in a dominant role if he wins the girl over by some means like smooth talk, romantic dinner, ambition, or gifts. But for girl, she has to discriminate man's words and get his real intention. If she fails to do so, maybe someday she would become just another poor prey of the guy who might as well be a womanizer.

　　So in love, who first shows the true emotion would take a passive role in the tricky game called love. The thing a girl should know is no man would turn down a girl's offer just as I already says man like to be seen as liked and popular. What’s more it is a shame in our culture to turn down a girl without getting anything. So that is the reason why women don't like one nightstand as much as men do.

　　But REMEMBER, if a man find it hard to give you a promise, there must be something to hold him back. It might be that he got a girlfriend, or he is married, or he has a commitment issue and don't want to settle down. In this case, no matter how hard the girl tries, the ending would be virtually the same. Nothing good would come out of the efforts. So girls, be smart! Keeping lying to yourself only can hurt you MORE!
