My home town，Changsha, is thecapital of Hunan province and best known as the star city for itswell developed entertainment industry and tourism. There arenumerous places and attractions worth recommending, and YueluMountain is the first one that I’d like to introduce to you.Firstly, in the foot of Yuelu Mountain is the prominent YueluAcademy. It has an exceedingly long history and its architecture ischaracteristic of Song Dynasty. Then, after a half hour, we willreach the Bird Forest. There are various rare birds there, and theycan sing, perform, and interact with us. After about an hour, wewill arrive at the peak, Baiyun Summit. The scenery there isspectacular and we can have a wonderful panorama of the wholecity。

If one of my foreign friends is coming to China, no doubt, I will take him to Beijing first. The reasons are as following:
First, Beijing is the capital of China, an energetic city with a long history. Beijing is a super large distribution center, high-quality goods across the country will appear here, so you can easily find whatever you like. Second, there are a great number of tourist attractions and historic sites in Beijing, such as Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Summer Palace. What is more, some of these interesting places are within walking distance, so you can visit several scenic spots by spending a relatively less time. Third, the traffic in Beijing is very convenient and inexpensive. You can take bus or subway train to anywhere you want to go.

一、改变一个传统观念
在 中学阶段，用母语写作的中学生会运用一些写作技巧，以求文章新颖、别致，但若将此观念引用到大学英语四级考试作文中来，效果可能相反。原因主要有1、汉英 两种语言的差异很大，汉语属分析性语言，注重意合，强调语言的含蓄性;英语属综合性语言，注重型合，强调语言的直接性。因而，文章开门见山，更符合英语习 惯。2、《大学英语教学大纲》关于四级写作的要求是培养学生初步的写作能力。具体体现在四个方面：切题与否，内容表达清楚与否，文字通顺连贯与否，语言错 误多与否。由此看来，生动的语言还不是四级作文考察的重点。3、追求构思新颖，布局巧妙，语言生动，若没有较强的英语语言驾驭能力，很容易跑题，或者思想 表达不清，实在是得不偿失。因此，四级作文的.应试者的注意力应放在切题，以及清楚、准确表达思想上。这种认识，一定先要在观念上确立起来。
二、审题列提纲，注意理清文章的脉络。
在英语四级考试中，审题是核心。一般在四级考试中，作文都给出了简短的中文提纲，写作时一定要按提纲的要求写，提纲叫怎么写，就怎么写。我们要把提纲看 成是几个简答题，一个题目用一个段落来回答，这样，作文就会段落清楚，有明显的开头、主体和结论部分。写的过程中也不会为分段大伤脑筋，更不会像记流水帐 一样一段到底，从而给阅卷老师留下很好的印象。同时在文章写作过程中，一定要学会使用一些句子之间，以及引起和结束文章时候的连接词，这样可以使文章更自 然、流畅。

四级作文一般有下面三种结构：说明文、议论文和应用文写作。说 明文主要可以分为阐述主题类型、利弊类型、原因结果类型、解决问题类型及谚语说明类型;议论文主要是就观点进行反驳类型的;应用文写作主要包括演讲词、求 职求学信、邀请信、感谢信和投诉信等。在每一种类型中写上一两句亮点语言，定会有意想不到的收获。

很多的考试专家在总结考试的经验时， 往往将一些现成的别人的经验作为应付考试的一种方法。笔者在教学实践中也认为这样的方法有可借鉴之处，一方面，能够减少因思考不充分而带来的“虎头蛇尾”的尴尬结局，另一方面，能够节省写作时间。
另外，在写作过程中，运用一些像比喻、夸张等修辞手法，不仅能够使文章倍感生动形象，还能够体现出“中西合璧”的特色。综上所言，在英语四级考试中，按 照考纲的写作要求，注 意写作过程和方法的训练，围绕写作重点，掌握规律性，突出规范性，强化长期性，就一定能够帮助学生提高写作的技能。一篇优秀的作文，是需要平常时的词汇的 积累，优秀作文的积累等，掌握这些方法，再写作，会容易很多呢。
