I always ask myself what can I do for our great Chinese dream ？ As we all know that the wiser the youths are ，the wiser the nation will be；the wealthier the youths are ，the wealthier the nation will be；the stronger the youths are ，the stronger the nation will be。 Here the word wealthy means： enriching our knowledge a new generation of youth ， every one here shouldering the great historical mission of making china powerful and strong。
You may say that this may exaggerate our role， but I want to say you are wrong。 If I am a little screw our great dream may be a multifunction and complex machine。 Through this example I just want to say I am very tiny but I am indispensable 。
I believe that as long as all of our young people unite together and perform our own functions that study hard in school and work hard after we graduating from university 。 We must be able to achieve our great dream meanwhile enrich ourselves unwittingly！

I have a dream Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ，my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ，when I am 16 years old ，standing here ，my dreams have already changed a lot. I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home，while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain，jumping in the heavy snow，pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ，because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ，of course ，I'm an athlete，I'm so proud of that all the time . When I was 10 years old ，I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ，I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves".During those hard days，I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But，I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway. Have you ever watched the famous cartoon"Happy sheep and gray wolf",which captures the hearts of millions of kids and even teenagers.
I'm sure you can't forget the vivid character---Red Wolf,which is a snippy,violent and hot-tempered wife with her symbolic action:throw a pan to her husband and shout out " go and catch the sheep! or never come back".In fact,this is a truly reflection that female are gradually dominating the society.Girls are the bosses.
According to a report by CNN in 20xx,women in the US earned 59 percent of all college degrees,surpassing men by almost 3 to 2.while in 1970,41 years ago,men earned that percentage of all college degrees.Similarly, in China,it's estimated that female college students surpassed male students in numbers on campus for the first time in history in 20xx,which accounts for 51%.Although we,the students in WHUT,can't feel it,because the majority here are
males.But think about the fact that,the female ratio of freshmen in Huazhong Normal University this year is 70%.So next time,when you're free,why not go to Huazhong Normal University,just walk around the campus,and you will enjoy a different scenery.
Back to our topic, Gu haibing,professor in the School of Econmics at Renmin University of China,attributes this to the education system.He says girls gain the edge with their better discipline and memory-based studying method "However , a gender imbalance on campus caused by female students outperforming their male counterparts reflects a global trend.

At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others，you must work harder." In some extent，the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something，the victory will come. Hold fast to dreams，for if dreams die，life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams，for when dreams go，life is a barren field frozen with snow. It is easy to describe success in terms of money, fame and reputation. But I believe that success is not external. I believe that success comes from within. My definition of success is to be true to yourself, and be true to others. That means, that you must cherish your personal ideal even in the face of adversity. I also believe that success is not discriminatory. Success is not restricted to such a class of people, in fact, it may be achieved by any person irrespective of his race, creed, gender and economic background. A good example of success is that of Beethoven. He is one of the world's most famous composers, yet he was deaf. He could not hear the majestic pieces of music that he created. Yet, in the face of this adversity, he was able to maintain his ideals''that of composing music.
To exemplify what success means to me, I pose a question to all of you. What brings us together here today? I believe that it is the beauty of the spoken word. The effect of pause and the sound of rhetoric are unique to the spoken word. I believe the beauty of the spoken word is even stronger for those who have difficulty in expressing themselves. These people are reclusive and had their emotions hidden within them. I once went to Australia and I saw two pictures, Once was drawn by a normal child, the other was drawn by a child with social inhibitions. The picture drawn by the normal child was simple and plain. The other was life'like, full of details and imagination. What this shows is that these are ideas, emotions and feelings that are locked internally in these children.
My ideal is to be the key, spreading the beauty of the spoken words to these children. These children have been neglected, but I feel that I can and should help these children to find themselves and be able to express themselves.
I realize that this is a difficult task, and there are many obstacles on the way. But I believe in my ideals and I will stick to them''even in the face of adversity. We should never have a premature abortion of ideals'let the child, let our ideals, stand the challenge. For a life without ideals is not living.

in order to protect our environment from being polluted, i will do some publicity with my classmates to explain the harmfulneof pollution.through this people will be able to realize the serious pollution human beings have made to the nature and realize the importance of a clean environment. in future they will reduce pollution in their daily life. harmony with the environment is that we live in on earth, who is a natural son, and not only to natural persons as the conqueror, as we all know, there is only one earth and the mountains on earth, the animals. plant human cells, if it damaged, destroyed nature organizations, to the eradication of mankind. therefore, the environment must be linked with social ethics, character education and practice acts as an important element of it. everyone must fulfil its responsibilities and obligations to protect the environment. environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. for example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence. the earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. laws have been passed to stop pollution. i hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.

Good evening ，Ladies and Gentlemen: Thank you very much for choosing to come in such a cold night.Today my topic is about choice and process.A research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day.With so many choices one day， people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. In my opinion， the following part is of much more importance than the choice. There is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life， which the process makes the difference. Life is a box of chocolate，you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ，the caution， courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example， I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choice，days have been harsh for me.I cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself，I persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths interesting.Moreover， I learned to act instead of complaining. In retrospect，the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life. NO matter what the choice is， enjoy the process. In the process， your potential will be inspired and new discoveries，improvement and progress will come to you. These are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see it.These make your life colorful. There is no need and I donnot want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here，but I congratulate to myself for I gain and enjoy this fantastic experience. I also have a dream ,but not only a simple one 。
When I was a small girl,my dream was that I would be a doctor when I grew up. I will be the first person who produces a new medicine. this kind of medicine can make teachers relax when they are busy correcting their students’ exercises and preparing their lessons. because one day when I woke up at midnight, I found my father, a senior Chinese teacher, was still busy with his work .i was deeply moved. I wish my father could be healthy and relaxed every minute.
But now, I have another dream ,I want to learn English well. I love English , English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on interet and internation trade .learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.
Everyday ,I read English following the tapes .sometimes, I watch english cartoons .on the weekend ,I often go to the English corner .by talking with different people there ,I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English . I ’will try my best 。

Football is a game in which 22 people chase one ball around a large field. The aim of the game is to get the ball into the net to score.
After all， it’s such an easy game， and yet people go crazy mad over it. The answer lies in two facts. One is the game itself. Sometimes it is beyond any description. Football is a game of passes and techniques， passion and love， more importantly， unity is the key———the whole team working as one， united they will never be defeated.
The European’s style. of play is like a Waltz， the Brazilian like a Samba， and the passionate Argentineans play as if they are doing a Tango. Football is so unpredictable， so unbelievable. You will never know who will win until the last minute. Especially when suddenly there is a goal， the fans who have been sitting on the edge of their seats， will be wild with joy and excitement； and the losers with disappointed hearts will despair over their teams.

It’s a very intresting topic today.
I think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
Every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life——exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
My father always stands in the center of my life，from past till now and possibly in the future.
My family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby，small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
But father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
When i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
I learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
Like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’，‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it
Years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad,cause you are the hero in my mind.

and how fortunate we are indeed to live in the most diverse, dynamic and beautiful state in the entire union. you know, from the south bronx to the southern tier, from brooklyn to buffalo, from montauk to massena, from the world's tallest skyscrapers to breathtaking mountain ranges, i've met people whose faces and stories i will never forget. thousands of new yorkers from all 62 counties welcomed to me into your schools, your local diners, your factory floors, your living rooms and front porches. you taught me, you tested me and you shared with me your challenges and concerns - about overcrowded or crumbling schools, about the struggle to care for growing children and aging parents, about the continuing challenge of providing equal opportunity for all and about children moving away from their home towns because good jobs are so hard to find in upstate new york. now i've worked on issues like these for a long time, some of them for 30 years, and i am determined to make a difference for all of you.
you see, i believe our nation owes every responsible citizen and every responsible family the tools that they need to make the most of their own lives. that's the basic bargain. i'll do my best to honor in the united states senate.
and to those of you who did not support me, i want you to know that i will work in the senate for you and for all new yorkers. and to those of you who worked so hard and never lost faith even in the toughest times, i offer you my undying gratitude.
