和外国人人讲话的地道用语有哪些

  和老外聊天地道口语:这个人的餐桌礼仪真差

Betty: I'm not sure. I have to check my schedule. Where are you going?

T: oh, Jake made a reservation at Friday's.

  B: Jack?

T: yes, the one with the R$D team. Is that a problem?

B: I will never go out with him anymore.

T: why did you say so?

B: last time when we had dinner at the Smith's, it was a horrible experience. He had no manners at all!

  T: oh, really?

B: he made a lot of noises while eating. He talked with his mouth full and sipped loudly.

T: are you kidding me? How could he behave like that?

B: it is true. Everyone kept looking at him. It was so embarrassing as I was sitting right next to him.

  T:what a shame! Didn't he realized that?

B: I have no idea. He seemed to enjoy the dinner very much.

T; maybe he should really something about eating etiquette.

  B: oh, he really should.

  和老外聊天地道口语:Reunion with Old Friends 老友重逢

Matthew: Steve! Haven't seen you in ages! How long's it been?

Steve: it's got to be almost a year now.

  M: how have you been?

S: I'm pretty good. I've been looking for a place to live recently. My lease runs out next month and I don't want to renew it.

M: yeah, I remember the neighborhood. Have you found a place yet?

S: not yet. I am still looking through the classifieds. Wish me luck.

M: well, maybe I can help. Remember my neighbor?

  S: Mrs. Zhou?

M: yes, her daughter's having a baby, so she's moving in with her to help out. I think if you are interested, you can come over and have a look.

S: great. It's a lovely neighborhood. And it would be nice to be neighbors again. It would be just like the old days!

M: I'll ask Mrs. Zhou when she's available to show the apartment and let you know. Has your number changed?

  和老外聊天地道口语:谈谈择友标准

Larry: not bad. We had a get-together with friends from college. I haven't seen many of them since gradution. How about you?

M: great. I hung out with jo all day shopping, and the went out for dinner together.

L: sounds a good weekend. You know it always amazes me that two people as different as you and Jo can become such close friends.

M: yeah, I never thought we could be good friends either. We have our differences. She's more outgoing and active while I am more quiet and reversed, but we still get along extremely well. We can talk for hours about anything.

L: that's great. I know people who can't stand each other for even five minutes.

M: when Jo and I are together, we argue a lot, but that's also part of the fun. Besides, I know she will always be there for me when I need her, and she knows I'll be there for her.

L: it seems you two bring out the best of one another.

M: exactly. Having Jo as my friend is one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

L: yeah, you are so lucky to have found each other.

M: thanks, I think so too.

  和老外聊天地道口语:昨晚我和她吵架了...

Mary: well, last night I had a big argument with Ann.

A: terrible. It must be something serious. You two are such close friends.

M: now that I look back at it, it wawsn't that big a deal. I shouldn't have lost my temper.

  A: really? What happened?

M: it's just we've been planning to go the beach for a while, and we decided we could both make it this weekend. Then out of nowhere she called me up, said her boyfriend had made plans and that she need to cancel the trip. I was so angry when she told me that I said she didn't care about our friendship at all.

  A: that's pretty harsh.

M: I know, but I was so upset. I mean, come on! Does she have to do everything her boyfriend says?

A: you know she probably feels just as bad.

M: well, I think I was being a little selfish myself. I know they don't get to see each other very often.

A: well, in that case I guess maybe you can be more understanding. You shouldn't let a trivial thing like this stand in the way of your friendship. After all you can go to the beach anytime you want.

M: yeah, I'll call her later to patch things up.

  和老外聊天地道口语:与网友见面

  Brad: just after 2 am.

  E: what's wrong? Can't sleep?

B: nope, actually I was waiting for you. I have something big to tell you.

  E: really? What is it?

B: I have an offer to work for a company in your city today?

E: I can't believe it! Is it real? You're moving here?

B: I haven't accepted the position yet and with the upcoming holiday I think it's the perfect chance to visit the city and take a good look at the company before deciding. If you have time I think we could get together in person.

E: just give me the dates and I'll make sure I'm free. You know after all these chatting online, it will be great to meet you in real life. I look forward to seeing you soon!

B: me too. But I think I am going to bed now. my head is getting heavy. Have a nice day there!

E: thanks. This is so exciting. Sleep tight and sweet dreams!

  B: talk to you later.

  和老外聊天地道口语:我可不想做电灯泡...

A: I am sorry too. I know we've been talking about this beach trip for a while. I should have told Bob I was busy this weekend.

M: don't be silly. You guys should spend as much time together as you can. Besides we can go to the beach anytime.

  A: thanks for understanding.

M: well that's what being friends is about, isn't it?

A: hey, what if the three of us go to the beach together? Besides, you and Bob haven't seen each other for a while. I don't want my best friend and my boyfriend to be complete strangers.

M: Nah, I wouldn't worry about that. But I don't want to be the third wheel. You two should have some quiet time to yourselves.

A: I know Bob won't mind. You can bring a date, like that guy from the bar you keep talking about.

  M: maybe…I'll think about it.

A: well, I think you should come and have some fun. Besides you never know maybe he likes you as well. You should at least try.
