3. Make a wish.
4. Blow out the candles.
5. Cut off the cake.
6. Eat the cake.
7. Open the presents.
8. Sing and dance.
9. Watch videos or play other games.
10. Say goodbye with each other.

In the first poster, two badminton players hold one gold medal together, which suggests that cooperation always comes first in Olympics.
Although all the players struggles to be higher, faster, and stronger, the teamwork usually plays a very important role in a lot of events, such as football, group gymnastics and relay races.
In the second poster, in the relay race one athlete is passing an olive branch, instead of a baton, on to the next one.
What does it mean? It shows us that the Olympics mean more than just competition. Peace and friendship are also part of the Olympics!

At the age of eight, I had a frightful experience. My uncle and I were swimming in a river with a life buoy. I said to my uncle that I wanted to swim to the middle of the river alone.
I said it would be safe because I had a life buoy. At first my uncle didn’t agree. I pretended to cry. He had nothing to do but let me swim alone. When I was near the middle of the river, the life buoy leaked.
I began to sink. I struggled to keep my head above the water. But what I did was of no use. I was forced to drink a lot of water. I thought I was going to be drowned.
It was at that CRItical moment that my uncle swam over and rescued me. I didn’t dare to swim alone after that experience.

参加英语演讲比赛的共有来自三至六年级的17名同学，他们看起来都信心十足，那些哥哥姐姐们在台上都表现得非常出色。连主持人也是一名英语和一名汉语主持人。我是三年级的一号，快轮到我时我有点小紧张了，害怕自己说不好，我深伸吸了一口气就上台了，结果我说得还比较流利，没有忘词 还 发挥出了自己最好的水平。最后有4名同学获得了一等奖，5名同学获得了二等奖，8名同学获得了三等奖。我获得了二等奖。
演讲比赛结束了，虽然我这次没有获得一等奖，但我从别人的身上看到了别人的优点和缺点，也看到了自己的'优点和缺点，我现在还是一名三年级的学生，还是第一次参加这样的比赛，以后还会有很多机会，这次活动对我来说也锻炼了我的胆量和能力。以后我要好好学习，多多地参加各种活动来锻炼自己。

上课铃打响了，大家都在等待着桂老师来上课，可是将教室门推开的却是校长和一个新的老师，全班同学目瞪口呆的对这两个老师望着，只见校长向我们宣布一个意想不到的消息：由于本校为使即将上初一的学生进入“新概念”阶段，所以我们的课程由原来的每周两节课调整到四节，由以前的两课一单元，调整为一课一单元，原来的英语老师由于学校里有事，所以以后由这位来老师带你们……全班同学再也听不下去了，有的`拍桌子，有的拍手，有的敲文具盒。我们受不了了，一个星期四节英语课，这岂不是比上学还累，再说我周一至周五的早上还要弹两个小时的琴，中午吃完饭就要去英语课，上到六点钟回来吃晚饭？这样岂不是要把我们压垮了，不行，这样频繁的上课绝对不行，再说了，我明年才上六年级，我为什么要成为那些初一同学的替罪羊？可是学校不顾我们的抗议，硬是要我们接受。上课了，刚才的那段风波过去了，我们也只能接受了，可是这个新来的英语老师上课时管得很松，上课的时候，下学期上六年级我们听得很认真，那些下学期上初一的同学们却在那各说各的，这样的英语课到底是为给谁补啊！想着以前的英语课上的欢声笑语，我的情绪开始不安了，好不容易“熬”到了下课……
上完课后在回家的路上我感悟出了一句话：做人难，做学生更难，做学习好的学生更是难上加难！
