if i am to choose a career, my principles are as follows. first of all, it should be a real service to my fellowmen and not merely enable me to earn a living. seondly, it should offer scope for creativity and imagination because i want to live a rich or meaningful life. finally, it should provide me with opportunities and challenges, engaging my in terest and allowing me to develop my abilities.
there are many professions for me to choose from: teaching, newspaper work, research on social science and so on. among them, the work of a reporter may suit me most, because it is an eciting job and is full of challenges.

Then,there are worker ants. These ants build and repair the nest. They also collect food and look after the larvae.
The nest has to be proctected. It is the duty of the soldier ants to fight with enemies. These enemies may invade the nest. Soldier ants have strong jaws.

Some people like living in the city. They say that there are many factories in the city and there are more job opportunities in the city than in the countryside. But some people like living in the countryside. They say that life in the countryside is closer to nature, quieter and cleaner. Country people don’t suffer from the housing problem, air pollution, noise pollution, traffic jams and traffic accidents.
As for me, according to the situation of China, I prefer to live in the city. An important reason is that the development of city is far beyond that of country. Some countries, especially in remote areas, are still very poor and backward. The life there is still very tough and difficult. Nevertheless, nothing is absolutely, some people still would rather choose live in the country, it is really up to yourself. Remember, happy and comfortable are the purposes.

From the report we can see that in 1990,40 percent of people stayed at home for holidays. But now the proportion has reduced to 9 percent. More people go out for fun. The proportion of camping and traveling abroad was increasing steadily,from 10 percent in 1990 to 38 percent in 20xx,and 12 percent in 1990 to 26 percent in 20xx respectively. People enjoy the fresh air,clean Water and green hills when they go camping in the suburbs. In 1990,38 percent people enjoyed going to the seaside while in 20xx only 27 percent prefer to go there. What great changes!
Why did those changes appear?I think there are several reasons.
First,it's because people can afford traveling.
Second,people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life.
Third,their attitudes to relaxation have changed. Less people want to save much money by leading a simple life. In short,people's living standard today has been rising greatly.
