On the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, after the Olympiad Mathematics class, I can’t wait to run outside the classroom. Outside must be beautiful, a bright moon in white lotus-like clouds, such as water pouring down the moonlight, in the earth sprinkled a bright, moonlight under the earth must be hazy and beautiful, like a fairyland on earth. But when I ran out of the classroom, a pungent smoky inquiry came in front of me, which made me sneeze three times in a row. I was disappointed by the sight outside. It was really hazy, but it was not beautiful at all. Smoke ashes reveled in the air, and grey ashes floated in the air like ghosts. The moonlight was blocked by dust and wrapped in thick fog. It could not throw its light to the earth.
Mom and Dad came to pick me up. When they saw me, Mom sighed, "Today is the day to enjoy the moon, but the air is too dirty. My voice is dry and itchy, and my eyes are not good. Let’s go home soon." I sniffed and sniffed, "Dad, what’s wrong with this?" Dad said disgustedly, "It’s also necessary to ask, it must be the neighboring villagers who burn straw again at night. This corn straw tastes the most." In order to escape the dust, we quickened our pace and went home. Walking into the community, it’s really a grey world. The bright street lights of the past also bowed their heads in front of the dust tonight and became dim and dull. Because of the smoke everywhere, people hide in their homes, and the usually busy neighborhoods are much deserted. Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, the moon should be the most round, beautiful, brightest and charming, but what about the Moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival? In the dust, we have to pick up our glory.
This moon once shined in the Tang Dynasty, so that Li Bai, who did not know the moon when he was an hour, thought it was a white jade plate and a Yao Tai mirror. What a beautiful moon it was! The same moon shined in the Song Dynasty. Su Shi once chanted to this bright moon: "I hope people will live for a long time, and all the miles will be beautiful." I hope people can enjoy the bright moon together. Today’s Mid-Autumn Festival, we did not enjoy the bright moon sky, did not see the water moonlight. I think of PM2.5, which is very famous in recent years. How many people can’t sing to the moon and appreciate the bright stars? All of these are caused by human beings’own cherishing the environment. If we don’t care for the environment, can we only imagine the moon by reading poems and looking at pictures?
I look forward to the moonlight.
