　　My grandma is over seventy now. These days she doesn't feel well, and her legs hurt. This afternoon my father and I took her to the hospital. The doctor looked her over carefully. He said that she was in good health, but people get all kinds of illness as they got older. He also said that she would get well in the coming spring.

　　这天校外英语培训班的老师打来电话，邀请我参加英语小沙龙活动。英语小沙龙？是什么活动？我可是第一次听到这个新名词，于是怀着好奇早早就去了。

　　来到学校的大厅里，只见中间摆了一排一排的椅子，墙上挂着各色各样的气球，漂亮极了。我选了一个座位坐下，第一个节目是，一个外教教我们读英语单词，请同学们读，读对的同学可以拿锤子砸一个气球，气球里有奖品。同学们都很认真，各个砸的很开心。终于轮到我了，我兴奋的大声读出单词，拿起锤子选了一个最大的气球，用力一砸，砸出了两颗星星和一颗糖，糖放进嘴里甜到了心里。接着又做了一个有趣的游戏——做衣服。我们组选了一个女孩当模特，大家先把报纸的一端捏在一起，按在女孩的腰上，这就是裙子的腰，另一端展开就是裙摆了，这样做成好几张围在女孩的腰上；接着用双面胶把报纸的边缘粘在一起；最后用彩色纸做成蝴蝶结贴在报纸上，一条漂亮的裙子就穿在女孩的身上了。

　　原来英语小沙龙就是一个有趣的.活动，从这次活动中我收获了不少快乐。希望我们的学校也能举办各种各样的小沙龙活动啊！

At his old age, he won the Nobel Prize, which proved that his great breakthrough had affected people deeply. John had the serious mental illness when he was young, he refused to take the medicine which could make his mind think slowly, so he was doing his research while struggling with his delusion. The lucky thing was that his wife supported him all the time. Because of the support from family, John could work on his job. After winning the Nobel Prize, he thanked his wife in the first time.
