If you travel from the outside to Ya’an along a wide and clean road, you will arrive at a beautiful place which only can appear in your dream, But now , I will tell you that you are not dreaming. This beautiful place named“TianQuan”—my hometown, it stands near the Qingyi river at the foot of Erlang mountain, It is a small city covered by green and it’s famous for the beautiful scenery, excellent climate and long history.
In the past, it was poor. People who once came here did not want to come again ，why?The streets were full of rubbishes and the buildings were old and small，when there were strong winds the buildings were shaking as if they wanted to say “Hello”to you.
But today，with the lead of our government, many changes have taken place，life is much better than before.
First, flowing on modern agriculture, theader guide peasants to use advanced technology to develop agriculture.Such as ,keeping chickens in cages, planting fruit trees. As a result, the economy developed reasonably.
Tourism is another way to develop economy .You know that there are many interesting places in Tianquan. If you come to visit these places, the people there will offer the best for you and give you a lot of pleasure. The most famous one is “Laba He”，
There, the air is so clear and you can see trees and mountains everywhere some said：“In summer it is green like a fountain，and in winter it is white like a white jade, so it attracts thousands of towns from all over the world ”.
Finally，the leaders pay much attention to the education，They have trained more and more skilled person. Most of then come back to our hometown and devote all their loves to our hometown.
In order to build our hometown into a land of economic prosperity, political stability and beautiful landscape. It is succeed in depending on the joint efforts of the whole people and may be depending on several generation, As a student ,I hope one day I can come back with more advanced knowledge to develop my hometown ，I believe there will be a brighter future waiting for my hometown.

Success is a feeling, that means success is not considered as big or small, high or low. It is just a good mood from your heart. Maybe passing a final test is a success for a student, learning to walk is a success for a little child, marrying a beautiful girl is a success for a lad, signing a contract is a success for a company. Success varies from individual to group.
Success is a feeling, that means success is changing since your childhood. While you were a little child, you thought it was a success that your parents finally bought you lovely toys after you begged again and again. Success is the feeling you had when you were told that you won the contest. After graduation, you started working. You were successful when you finished a complicated task very well and you were praised. When married, maybe a happy marriage and a happy family meant success for you. When your child grew up, you hoped he or she attend a famous university or go abroad to study or work, at that time you considered that was your success. When you were old enough and couldn't work at all, success was a feeling that your children and grandchildren came to see you from a long distance. Actually, success always accompanied you in your growth.
However, we have to admit that you can't be successful all the time. We always meet many difficulties on the way to success. The more difficult it is, the much happier we are when we succeed.
To be successful, we should have a clear aim and then try our best to reach it. Wherever you go, whatever you are, your success belongs to yourself. It is a good feeling that you love it very much, and it really can make you laugh from the heart.

she is one of my best friends who has a beatiful face, white skin , big bright eye and long curly black hair. we have to admit that she ia one of the most excellent girl among us, not only in the studies but also in the personalities. i think she is the girl between the superachiever and cool-steady. because she is not totally belonging to cool-steady ,besides modest, cooperative, patient and sociable,she is also independent and very ambitious. do you believe that ,it's ture. for instants, she can get along well with all kinds of people even those who can always make you crazy . she can quickly adapt hersellf to the new enviroment and if she can do something on her own,she won't trouble others.
what's more she always consider about others'feeling.i think that's her valuable quality, because in now days,more and more peolple are just concernd with themselves. she has a variety of interests. she is good at playing paino and has passed level-eight.she also like singing dancing and doing sports sometimes, i often wonder that i'm such an ordinanry girl , how can i obtian such an excellent friend. looking back to the time we spent together ,she has helped me with my studies, encouraged me when i felt upset .and she always stood by my side and helped me to overcome the obstacles. we made joks and laughed all the time .may be the most important reason why we could become close friends is that: we like each other, we appeal to each other .i think she is so excllent girl meanwhile she think me is a lovely girl.
we are familiar to each other, except some of her good qualities which i don't own .we are both houmous and like to tell funny stories. we like the same kinds of moives and food. we wear the same style clothes and we also have same view about the things and we understand each other. in a word. it is the most the lucky thing in my life to have such a good friend. i'll try my best to keep our friendship forever.

my hometown is lhasa, the largest city on the roof of the world. it is the heart and soul of tibet. i think lhasa is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. it is surrounded by towering mountains and rarely a day goes by when you don’ t see the deep blue sky. lhasa river is flowing quietly around the city.
lhasa is the mixture of tradition and fashion.
firstly, lhasa has a long history. it is the political, cultural and economic center of tibet. it has lots of famous sights to offer. the potala palace is the most famous, a magnificent and wonderful place to look at. in my opinion it is a unique artistic achievement of the tibetan people. likewise, the architecture, carvings and paintings throughout the city show hard work, wisdom and bravery of our people.
secondly, led by the reforming and opening policy of china, lhasa has changed a lot. many new things have arrived up here, changing the face of the city. the old and new lie side by side in lhasa.
many new buildings, schools and roads have been built here. furthermore, the qing—zang railway leading to lhasa is being built. many shopping centers have been opened, and modern technology like telecommunications is spreading. the whole city looks prosperous, and our tibetan people take on a new look. every festival, people walk around freely on the new, wide and smooth streets, wearing the beautiful traditional costumes.
right now, i am looking forward to a festival called shodün which comes in june for eating yoghurt. at this time, all my family and i gather for a picnic together at the norbulinka, a famous garden. in the garden, we sing tibetan songs, dance “guo zhuang” on the grass; eat zanba, drink butter tea and barley beer on the beautiful carpet as well. we enjoy our life. i think that this festival exhibits the open-minded and optimistic character of the tibetan people.

I am Qu Jierui. I’m from Class Two Grade Six. It’s my pleasuer to stand here to talk about English with you.
I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.
When I was five, my mother sent me to a kindergarten. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.
Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons. At recess, I often go to English corner to talking with teachers and classmates, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.
I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit
Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy. I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and my hometown—Zouping
