Into the sunshine，阳光下，
Full of the light，充满着光辉，
Leaping and flashing 跳跃着、闪烁着
From morn till night!从日出到日落!

Into the moonlight，月光下，
Whiter than snow，比雪更白，
Waving so flower-like 当风吹拂时，

When I was down beside the sea 当我到海边时
A wooden spade they gave to me 他们给了我一把木铲
To dig the sandy shore.好去挖掘沙滩。

The holes were empty like a cup 挖成像杯状般的空洞
In every hole the sea camp up，让每个洞中的海水涌现
Till it could come no more.直到它不能再涌现。

And summer pools could hardly cool 就是夏日的池水也无法冷却
The fever on my brow!我额头的热狂!

The fir trees dark and high;茂密高耸的冷杉;
I used to think their slender tops 我曾想象它细长的枝尖
Were close against the sky;逼近天空;
It was a childish ignorance，虽然只是幼稚无知，
But now 'tis little joy 但是，现在却少有那般快乐
To know I'm farther off from heav'n 因为我知道自己比孩童时代
Than when I was a boy!离苍穹更遥远了!
