寒假趣事英语日记

　　放寒假了，经过半年的学习，我也知道要尊老爱幼了，还顺便去给舅外公拜拜年。

　　After half a year's study, I also know that I should respect the old and love the young. I also pay a new year's visit to my uncle and grandfather by the way.

　　我也准备去探望外婆。我们收拾好行李，怀着高兴的心情踏上了轿车。在车上，我们谈声说笑，不知不觉就到了外婆家。

　　I'm going to visit grandma, too. We packed up and stepped on the car with joy. In the car, we talked and laughed, and unconsciously went to grandma's house.

　　一到外婆家，我就感到了亲情的温暖，我看到外婆对我的爱。一大早，外婆带着我们一起来到舅外公家拜年。舅外公家里真是漂亮，我一进门就拿了一个大大的红包给我过年，我高兴得不得了。

　　As soon as I arrived at Grandma's house, I felt the warmth of my family. I saw grandma's love for me. In the early morning, grandma took us to my uncle's house to celebrate the new year. My uncle's family is really beautiful. As soon as I came in, I took a big red bag to celebrate the new year. I was so happy.

　　舅外公家非常大，到处都有热闹的气氛。真不知道怎样形容才好。更没想到的是，舅外婆准备了香喷喷的饭菜给我们享用，我们也吃得津津有味。

　　My uncle's family is very big. There is a lively atmosphere everywhere. I don't know how to describe it. What's more, my aunt prepared delicious food for us, and we enjoyed it.

　　吃完饭，我便跑到后门那里和妹妹玩起了水，妹妹打水我泼水，玩着玩着便打起了水仗，弄得衣服上全是水，妈妈狠狠地骂了我一顿。但我心里还是非常开心。

　　After dinner, I ran to the back door and played with my sister. I splashed water when my sister played with her. Playing with her, I had a water fight. My clothes were full of water. My mother scolded me severely. But I'm still very happy.

　　这个寒假真是快乐的寒假。

　　This winter vacation is really a happy one.
