  Evergreen boughs that fill our homes

  With fragrant Christmas scents,

  Hearts filled with the loving glow

  That Christmas represents;

  Christmas cookies, turkeys stuffed,

  Festive holly berry,

  Little faces bright with joy,

  Loved ones being merry;

  Parties, songs, beribboned gifts,

  Silver bells that tinkle,

  Christmas trees and ornaments,

  Colorful lights that twinkle;

  Relatives waiting with open arms

  To smile and hug and kiss us;

We Won't Have a Christmas This Year

  We won't have a Christmas this year, you say

  For now the children have all gone away;

  And the house is so lonely, so quiet and so bare

  We couldn't have a Christmas that they didn't share.

  We won't have a Christmas this year, you sigh,

  For Christmas means things that money must buy.

  Misfortunes and illness have robbed us we fear

  Of the things that we'd need to make Christmas this year.

  We won't have a Christmas this year you weep,

  For a loved one is gone, and our grief is too deep;

  It will be a long time before our hearts heal,

  And the spirit of Christmas again we can feel.

  But if you lose Christmas when troubles befall,

  You never have really had Christmas at all.

  For once you have had it, it cannot depart

  When you learn that true Christmas is Christ in your heart.

  Merry Christmas

  Perhaps there is a Christmas I do not see snow

  It can feel like the cool

  Can experience the same kind

  Perhaps there is a Christmas I can not hear laughter

  Can experience the same joy

  Perhaps there is a consolation I can not hear Christmas

  It can feel like the Wen Xin

  Ming Mingzhong I saw the joy of the human world

  Also like to use my eyes to retain

  I like to feel happy

  I like the feeling of dedication to my friend

  Listen.

  One after another in the music sounded in the sky

  Look.

  That one finally see the stars in the clouds hovering

  Christmas,we can see that people love hand

  Together in the sky waiting for the snow falling

  Christmas,we can wait for friends to hear

  Look forward to time together in the realization of dreams

  I want to use this blessing of my heart

  To open the road in front of you

  You can let go of more and better flat

  I want to use my two-Thanksgiving hearts

  Lead to the realization of your dream

  So that you can live happier the United States each

  Today's Christmas for you and I in my life friends to pray

  I hope the new year

  Happy peace and happiness

  The Christmas I was in my life you wish a friend

  Hope that the new festival

  Happy magnificent and beautiful

  A Visit from St. Nicholas

  'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

  Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

  The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

  In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

  就连老鼠也不闹;

  我希望圣尼古拉很快就来到;

  The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

  While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

  And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,

  Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap,

  我希望圣尼古拉很快就来到;

  虽然他们脑子里还跳动着小糖球的幻影;

  When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

  I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

  Away to the window I flew like a flash,

  Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

  The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow

  Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,

  When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

  But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

  给月下的万物披上晌午的光芒;

  With a little old driver, so lively and quick,

  I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.

  More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,

  And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

  "Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!

  On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!

  To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!

  Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

  As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

  When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;

  So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

  With the sleigh full of Toys, and St. Nicholas too.

  And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof

  The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.

  As I drew in my head, and was turning around,

  Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

  He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,

  And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;

  A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,

  And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

  His eyes—how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!

  His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

  His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow

  And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;

  他的两颊红得像玫瑰,他的鼻子像是樱桃;

  The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,

  And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;

  He had a broad face and a little round belly,

  That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly.

  He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,

  And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;

  A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,

  Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

  真假是一个快活的老顽童;

  He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

  And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,

  And laying his finger aside of his nose,

  And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

  He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

  And away they all flew like the down of a thistle,

  But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,

  "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."
