They look after passengers all the way to theirdestinations. In addition, on long distance flights there are films and musicfor people to entertain themselves.

As a popular saying goes,"Everything has two sides." The same is true of air travel. It hassome disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel is expensive. The averageChinese are not rich enough to afford expensive air fares. So they prefer totake trains, which save a lot of money. For another, although passengers areassured of their safety, they are still worried about it during the journeybecause flying always involves more or less risk.

August 18 we came to the Pudong Airport, this is my first plane, before my mother has been told to let me take a trip, feel the air feeling. 八月十八日我们来到了浦东机场，这是我第一次乘飞机，以前妈妈一直说要让我乘一趟飞机，感受空中的感觉。这次居然真的`上飞机了，心里又高兴又紧张。高兴地是终于能像小鸟一样在天空上飞，可紧张的是飞机万一出故障，怎么办。想着想着飞机跑起来了。先是慢慢跑，然后加足马力，呼的一声，直冲云霄。大约过了十几分钟，我有种腾云驾雾的感觉。我紧张的往下看，感觉自己在云雾中穿行。
正当我想入非非时，突然，飞机一下摇晃起来，这时我想：糟了糟了，飞机一定出事故了，我的心一下子提到了嗓子眼。忽然，喇叭里说：“由于飞机受到了强气流，请乘客们扣好安全带。”哎!真是虚惊一场。又过了一个小时，飞机终于到了三亚凤凰机场了。记住我第一次乘飞机真是有惊无险啊。
