Stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.
The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way our earth could be a better place to live in.

The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.
Our planet gives us everything we need, but natural resources are not endless. Strip mining devastates whole regions, leaving bare and useless ground. Deforestation removes old growth trees that can't be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they can't recover. We are too careless in taking what we want without giving anything back.
There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". There is a new shopping area on every corner and new houses, townhouses and apartments everywhere. Traffic gets worse and worse because planners can't keep up with growth. Keeping up with human demand is hard enough. Environmental concerns come in last.
With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If we're not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.
People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we don't, what kind of future will we have?

In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education.
Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution.
Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country. There were many flowers and trees around our city. We could hear the birds singing and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it would be come true! So I think we should do something to protect our environment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.
Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can do something around your neighbourhood.
Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground? Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place? Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are "No",it means that you have already helped protect our environment.
It is our duty to keep our environment clean and tidy. You might ask yourself,"Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling? Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?" If your answers are"Yes", it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.
Now I want to say :Let`s do our best to make our world more beautiful!

We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes,watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.
Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste,organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we aregoing to talk about each sort of waste one by one.
Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from whichsomething else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metalproducts and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, theybecome waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper willbecome waste.
When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use abroken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses.Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasingday by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they gethome, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. Themore convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced.
This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of ourproducts we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottompart of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life.However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long timeand becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down bynature. This is really a big problem.

There are many ways we can do to reach the loe-carbon tly,discovering others fuels which is more clean and more green to instead of the using of ndly, we should have the save-energy conscious and do something which we can make,for instance,using the bus ranther than car when you go out,re-use the thing that can be recycle used,reducing the use of plastic but not least,we should plant more trees or other greenplants,in which way we can not only improve the environment,but also can make our home more beauty.
In my opnion, the most important thing to reach the low-carbon economic is everyone must try their best do what they can do for everyone have the sence of low-carbon economic and have the action by themselves ,it will be earlier to reach it.

Our modern city is too crowded，and to solve the problem，three proposals are put forward.
Most people believe that we should fist practise the policy “Late Marriage” and “One Couple， One Child” in order to reduce the birth rate.
Secondly，the city government must have a tight control over rural people entering cities to engage themselves in trade or do various physical jobs so as to lessen the pressure on the city caused by the increased population.
Finally more and more people suggest that living blocks with shopping centers，schools，hospitals as well as cinemas and theatres round them or even satellite towns should be built in city suburbs or the countryside round the cities. In this way city citizens will be encouraged to move there to live and work. If these three proposals are well carried out.
the city population will be greatly reduced.

The grounds are littered with plastic bottles and bags. People are cutting down trees even though it is illegal. In some towns rubbish is hidden behind walls. This lack of consideration for nature in general is extremely detrimental to children’s education toChina’s image to public health to tourism and to the future.Chinais the common treasure of all Chinese and we should live up to be a member of this big family a descendant of 5000-year-plus ancient civilized country. I think the environment must absolutely be strictly protected by all means. This protection should go at the same pace as the marvelous development of the nation.In this respectGermanyis a rare model and leaves me a very deep impression. After you have an exciting tour around in this country for a week or so it is unnecessary for you to polish your leather shoes. Use basins when washing faces or vegetables. Thus the water can be used again to clean toilets or water flowers. Thirdly, it will be good enough to use a basket instead of plastic bags when you go to the market. As we know, a basket can be used many more times.
In a word, we should try our best to build an economized society.

for a long time,people have exploited mineral resources for developing industry. the wide use of mineral resources causes a lot of pollutions. for example,burning oil can emit carbon dioxide and many other harmful gases.the carbon dioxide contributes to global warming which also leads to the melt of iceberg .besides mineral resources ,woodwhich is the most common material also attracted people's attention.according to the report ,in every one minute ,there are 20xx square meters of forest being destroyed.as people cutting down trees crazily, serious desertification appears ,sandstorm is getting more and more frequent,and the earth is hardly keep its temperature .look what we've done to our planet ! it's time for us to heal the world ! fortunately , more and more people have realized that the earth is sick and people are also in big trouble.thus alow-carbon life style is advocated,and in some countries the private cars are not allowed to drive ever day.
