　　My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice. But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town.

　　Many people had no work. They lived a hard life. In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved. I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

　　但在过去的日子里，它是一个贫穷落后的小镇。许多人没有工作。他们过着艰苦的生活。

　　我爱我的家乡。我最爱的人。他们正在努力工作，以便使它更丰富，更美丽。

　　我来自深圳。在春天，天气是温暖和潮湿的。我可以玩风筝。在夏天，天气炎热潮湿。我可以在游泳池游泳。在秋天，天气凉爽干燥。我也能玩风筝。在冬天，天气寒冷干燥。它从不下雪。
